Acting:

Bas Bleu Theatre Company generally holds one audition in the summer for the upcoming season. A prepared monologue is recommended but not mandatory and cold readings are available. Bring photo and resume if available. Be prepared to provide schedule conflicts. In general, rehearsals for each show are the five weeks preceding the opening performance. The best way to be informed of upcoming auditions is to be added to our actors email list-please send us your name, phone number and email.

Technical:

Bas Bleu holds technical interviews at the same time as the annual audition call at which time many of the technical positions are filled. If interested in designing, stage managing, running lights/sound, set/costume construction, or house managing, contact us for position openings.

Original Works:

Policy on submission of original works: Due to its small staff size, Bas Bleu is not accepting any original works, as we are unable to give them the attention they deserve. If you have a new work you would like to produce yourself, please inquire about opportunities. Please, do not send a copy for review unless asked to do so.
